LINDT Gold Bunny Hunt 2019 T&C's

 

1 DEFINITIONS

 

1.1 “you”, “your”, “entrant” means the person who has entered the competition;

 

1.2 “we, “us”, “our” means Lindt & Sprüngli (South Africa) (Proprietary) Limited, including its holding company;

 

1.3 “partner agency” means, Southern Write CC, 611 Agapanthus Circle, Boschenmeer Estate, Paarl, 7646.

 

1.4 “the competition” means the chance to win one of 280 prizes by entering the competition in terms of the rules set out below;

 

1.6 “participating location” means a shopping mall participating in the competition by placing the inflatable Bunny on its premises

 

1.5 “the prizes” means 280 hampers containing a selection of LINDT products to the value of R 500.00 each;

 

1.6 “the winners” are consumers who entered the competition in the manner stated below;

 

1.7 “rules” means the rules of the competition as set out herein;

 

1.8 “Digital entry” means an entry into the prize draw to be held on the LINDT Chocolate South Africa Facebook and Instagram pages;

 

1.9 “Digital entry” means an entry into the prize draw that has been generated by entering either the Facebook or Instagram digital competitions.

 

2 GENERAL

 

2.1. There will be 280 prize winners selected during duration of the competition; each day of the competition there will be 14 winners selected – 1 winner per participating location.

 

2.1.1 Each prize consists of the following and is subject to the terms and conditions, where applicable, set out below:

 

2x LINDT Gold Bunny 100g; RSP R54.99 each, 4x LINDT Carrot Treats 13.5g; RSP R13.99 each, 1x LINDOR Eggs Milk 6pack 168g; RSP R79.99 each, 4x LINDT Gold Bunny Paw Milk 20g; RSP R13.99 each, 2x LINDT Gold Bunny Mini Milk 50g; R44.99 each, 1x LINDT Gold Bunny Wooden Stencil; RSP R 70.00 each,

 

2.1.1 Hamper contents can be and will remain subject to change and will be based on availability of stock.

 

2.1.2 In case of damage or fault on delivery of the prizes to the winners, the winners will have to deal with the partner agency. After delivery of the prizes, LINDT and the partner agencies do not take responsibility of any damage or loss to the prizes

 

2.1.3 The competition hamper worth R 500.00 is subject to the following terms and conditions:

 

2.1.3.1 The hampers will be collected by the winners from a Lindt boutique store upon instructions from the partner agency.

 

2.1.3.2 In the instance the hampers are lost, stolen or damaged, then LINDT has no responsibility and will not replace the hamper items.

 

2. 2 Entry into the draw:

 

2.2.1 Entrants gain entry into the draw digitally on selected social media websites Facebook and Instagram. Entrants gain entry into the competition through the following official LINDT Social Media platforms and respective mechanics:

 

1.1 LINDT Facebook.

 

1.1.1 Entrant will upload an image post to their Facebook page. The entrant must mark the image post with #GoldBunnyHuntSA and tag participating location to stand a chance to WIN 1 of 280 hampers.

 

1.2 LINDT Instagram,

 

1.2.1 Entrant will upload an image post to their Instagram profile. The entrant must mark the image post with #GoldBunnyHuntSA and tag participating location to stand a chance to WIN 1 of 280 hampers.

 

2.2.3 Each day of competition, a 1 (one) winner will be selected at random per participating location and will be contacted via their respective social media accounts directly by the partner agency.

 

2.2.4 Digital entries begin at 00:00 on Monday 1st April 2019 and close at 24:00 on Saturday 20th April 2019

 

2.2.5 A digital entry is validated when a user follows the respective entry requirements on the associated social media channel as outlined above.

 

2.2.6 LINDT holds no responsibility for people who do not get a chance to enter the competition digitally for any reason beyond LINDT’s reasonable control.

 

2.3 Selection of winners:

 

2.3.1 The 280 winners (14 winners daily) will be selected by means of a randomized draw.

3 RULES

 

3.1 This competition is subject to the rules. All entrants, by entering the competition, agree to be bound by the rules. A copy of the rules is available at www.facebook.com/LindtChocolateSA

 

3.2 You must read the rules and pay special attention to all the terms printed in bold.

 

3. 3 In order to qualify as an entrant, you must -

 

3.3.1 reside in the Republic of South Africa;

 

3.3.2 provide voluntarily and of your own free will correct and full personal contact details;

 

3.3.3 be over the age of 18 years;

 

3.4 Digital prize winners will be contacted by LINDT or its partner agencies daily commencing 1st April 2019 and will be announced in https://www.instagram.com/lindtsa/ stories and https://www.facebook.com/LindtChocolateSA/ thereafter. All further communication will be conducted jointly by LINDT and its partner agencies.

 

3.5 Each winner will be personally contacted by the partner agency in order to obtain proof of ID and their physical address details for identification of the winners.

 

3.6 We, our directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants, the suppliers of any goods and services in connection with the competition and campaign and their respective spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not permitted to participate in this competition.

 

3.7 If we are unable to continue with the competition for any reason beyond our reasonable control or if required to do so by any regulatory requirement or applicable law, we may terminate the competition on prior reasonable notice to all entrants: provided that no prize winners will have been determined. If the competition is terminated in any of the aforementioned ways, subject to applicable laws, no entrant will have any claim of any nature whatsoever against us, unless we acted with gross negligence or with fraudulent intent.

 

3.8 Only 280 prizes (14 prizes daily) will be awarded.

 

3.9 The prizes –

 

3.9.1 Are not transferable and will only be awarded if all details supplied by an entrant are factually correct;

 

3.9.2 will not be exchanged for cash amounts or for any other prize other than the prize offered; and

 

3.9.3 may be substituted with another prize of similar commercial value, if for any reason beyond our reasonable control, the prize is not available;

 

3.10 You understand and agree that as specified in 2.3 -

 

3.11 Once the prizes have been awarded in terms of the rules, the results are final in all respects and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

3.12 The digital entries will open on Monday, 1st April 2019 and will end on Saturday, 20th April 2019.

 

4 OUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

 

To the extent legally permissible and unless we acted with gross negligence or fraudulent intent we assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from, in connection with or as a result of an entrant's or prize winner’s participation in the competition; entrants and the prize winners indemnify us against any claims of any nature arising from, in connection with or as a result of their participation, in any way whatsoever, in the competition.
