Put on your dancing shoes and make your way to a HELLO dancefloor at your nearest participating Pick 'n pay stores, where our team will assist you in recording your short video clip. Purchase your favourite HELLO product, whip out your best moves and upload your video to social media using the #DanceHELLO hashtag, and tag @lindtsa on Instagram and Twitter, or @LindtChocolateSA on Facebook.

DANCE HELLO 2017 Consumer Promotion T&C’s

 

1          DEFINITIONS

1.1             “you”, “your”, “entrant” means the person who has entered the competition;

1.2             “we, “us”, “our” means Lindt & Sprüngli (South Africa) (Proprietary) Limited, including its holding company;

1.3             “partner agency” means, Thirty Four Degrees Marketing, 14 Longkloof Studios, Darters Road, Gardens, 8 000, Cape Town

1.4             “the competition” means the chance to win one of ten prizes by entering the competition in terms of the rules set out below;

1.5             “the prizes” means 10 LINDT HELLO hampers to the value of R5,000 each;

1.6             “the winners” are consumers who entered the competition in the manner stated below;

1.7             “rules” means the rules of the competition as set out herein;

1.8             “Digital entry” means an entry into the prize draw to be held on the LINDT Chocolate South Africa Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages;

1.9             “Activation entry” means an entry into the prize draw that has been generated by uploading a Boomerang and/or 5-10 second video of the entrant dancing with a LINDT HELLO product captured at one of the DANCE HELLO in-store activation sites,uploaded to social media with the hash tag #DANCEHELLO tagged with either @LindtSA (applicable to digital entries via Instagram or Twitter) and/or @LindtChocolateSA (applicable to digital entries via Facebook)

1. 10    “activation sites” means one of the following LINDT HELLO activation sites:

2                 GENERAL

2.1             Each of the 10 Prizes includes the following:

2.1.1 Sixty LINDT HELLO slabs; one hundread and twenty LINDT HELLO sticks; fourty

LINDT HELLO mini Emoti’s and two LINDT HELLO mini Emoti bags.

2.1.2     Hamper contents can be and will remain subject to change and will be based on availability of stock.

2.1.3     In case of damage or fault on delivery of the prizes to the winners, the winners will have to deal with the partner agency. After delivery of the prizes, we and the partner agency do not take responsibility of any damange or loss to the prizes

2.1.4   The HELLO hamper worth R5,000 is subject to the following terms and conditions:

2.1.4.1 The LINDT HELLO hampers will be delivered to the winners at the physical addresses supplied by the entrant to the partner agency.

2. 2      Entry into the draw:

2.2.1  Entrants gain entry into the draw by digitally sharing a Boomerang and/or 5-10 sec video of the entrant dancing with a LINDT HELLO product on selected social media websites using the hash tag #DANCEHELLO and tagged with @LindtSA (applicable to digital entries via Instagram or Twitter) and/or @LindtChocolateSA (applicable to digital entries via Facebook) in order to qualify.

2.2.2  Selected social media websites include Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

2.2.3     Winners will be selected at random and contacted via the social media account utilized by the winner to enter, directly by the partner agency. External parties will be used to ensure fairness.

2.2.4 Digital entries close at 24:00 on Sunday 18th June 2017.

2.2.5        A digital entry is validated when an entrant creates and shares a Boomerang and/or 5-10 sec short video of the entrant dancing with a LINDT HELLO product to social media using the #DANCEHELLO hash tag. To qualify, the entrant must also tag @LindtSA (applicable to digital entries via Instagram or Twitter) and/or @LindtChocolateSA (applicable to digital entries via Facebook) in their post.

2.2.6        Activation entries close at 24:00 on Sunday 18th June 2017.

2.2.7        An Activation entry is validated when an entrant completes and shares a Boomerang of the entrant dancing with a LINDT HELLO product at a DANCE HELLO in-store activation site to social media using the #DANCEHELLO hash tag, the entrant must also tag @LindtSA (applicable to digital entries via Instagram or Twitter) and/or @LindtChocolateSA (applicable to digital entries via Facebook) in their post in order to qualify. The Boomerang must be filmed by a Lindt sampler using a Lindt tablet. The Boomerang will be shared with the entrant via Whatsapp and/or email as per the details supplied by the entrant. Upon requesting a copy of the Boomerang the entrant automatically agrees to all T&C’s and grants Lindt & Sprüngli SA the right to publish and use the entry for marketing purposes.

2.2.8        The entrant details must be complete and filled in correctly in order to receive the Boomerang required to enter in to the competition.

2.2.9        Lindt & Sprüngli SA holds no responsibility for people who do not get a chance to enter the competition digitally for any reason beyond Lindt & Sprüngli SA reasonable control.

2.3       Selection of winners:

2.3.1     The 10 x winners will be selected by means of a randomized draw. External software will be used to ensure fairness.

2.3.2     Hamper contents remain subject to change and will be based on availability of stock.

 

3. RULES

3.1 This competition is subject to the rules. All entrants, by entering the competition, agree to be bound by the rules.  A copy of the rules is available at www.facebook.com/LindtChocolateSA .

3.2               You must read the rules and pay special attention to all the terms printed in bold.

3. 3     In order to qualify as an entrant, you must -

3.3.1  reside in the Republic of South Africa;

3.3.2     provide voluntarily and of your own free will correct and full personal contact details;

3.3.3        be over the age of 16 years;

3.4             All competition entries will close on Sunday 18 June 2017 at 24:00. By-weekly prize winners will be contacted by Lindt & Sprüngli SA or its partner agency on a weekly basis commencing 19 May 2017 up until 23 June 2017 and will be announced on www.facebook.com/LindtChocolateSA thereafter. All further communication will be conducted jointly by Lindt & Sprüngli SA and its partner agency.

3.5             Each winner will be personally contacted by the partner agency in order to obtain proof of ID and their physical address details for the delivery of the prizes to the winners

3.6             We, our directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants, the suppliers of any goods and services in connection with the competition and campaign and their respective spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not permitted to participate in this competition.

3.7             If we are unable to continue with the competition for any reason beyond our reasonable control or if required to do so by any regulatory requirement or applicable law, we may terminate the competition on prior reasonable notice to all entrants: provided that no prize winners will have been determined.

3.8             If the competition is terminated in any of the aforementioned ways, subject to applicable laws, no entrant will have any claim of any nature whatsoever against us, unless we acted with gross negligence or with fraudulent intent. 

3.9             Only ten prizes will be awarded.

3.10          The prizes –

3.10.1     Are not transferable and will only be awarded if all details supplied by an entrant are factually correct;

3.10.2     will not be exchanged for cash amounts or for any other prize other than the prize offered; and

3.10.3     may be substituted with another prize of similar commercial value, if for any reason beyond our reasonable control, the prize is not available;           

3.11          You understand and agree that as specified in 2.3 -

3.12          Once the prizes have been awarded in terms of the rules, the results are final in all respects and no correspondence will be entered into.

3.13          The digital and activation entries will open on 15 May 2017 at 10:00am and will end on 18 June 2017 at 24:00.

 

4            OUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

To the extent legally permissible and unless we acted with gross negligence or fraudulent intent we assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from, in connection with or as a result of an entrant's or prize winner’s participation in the competition; entrants and the prize winners indemnify us against any claims of any nature arising from, in connection with or as a result of their participation, in any way whatsoever, in the competition.
